He lived in exile for many years with his mother dharma concealing his identity.during this duration, his grievances turned him into an insensitive rebel. The only thing he knew was his teacher’s dream of unifying entire india.he then fought many wars over years killing sushima and others responsible for his and his mother’s insult and most importantly chanakya’s death. Ashoka , after so much bloodshed bacame the emperor of unified indian subcontinent.he then turned to seek ultimate peace and found it in buddhism.he rigorouslypromoted buddism in india and srilanka.
