Prime Minister Narendra Modi is becoming a popular leader not only for the country but for the world. In the ranking of popular leaders, PM Modi has been on the third spot. Interestingly, China’s President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump have been behind PM Modi.
A list of popular leaders from around the world has been released after the survey conducted by Gallup and C Voter International. Before this, PM Modi was at number five in 2015. According to online media reports, this survey was conducted between 53,769 people of 55 countries, in which Pakistan was the only country where PM Modi was mostly disliked.
Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel has been number one in the list, while President Francois Emanuel Macroon is at number two. Third, after PM Modi, US president Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Ziping, Russian nationalist Vladimir Putin, in UK PM Theresa, Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel.
This survey was done by face-to-face, online or by phone with 1000 people from each country as a representative. ‘ Field work for the survey was conducted from October to December 2017.
This survey has come at a time when PM Modi is going to Switzerland to attend Davos meeting on January 22. Looking at this, the findings of the survey can be called encouraging for PM Modi and India.
